With the ADDAC304 Manual Gates you'll be getting 8 manual gates (0 +5v) in a nifty package - a perfect way to perform on and control your modular system.

The ADDAC304 comes with an interesting twist: 4 out of the 8 available gates can act as momentary switches, outputting the signals in their respective inputs when each gate’s button is pressed.

MECHANICAL:
Format: Eurorack
Width: 8 HP
Depth: 2.5 cm

CONTROL VOLTAGE I/O:
CV inputs: ± 10v
Gate outputs: 0 +5v

ELECTRICAL:
Max current: 10mA
Bus Board Cable: 8 × 2 IDC (Doepfer style) connector

F.A.Q.

Q: Are the buttons momentary? Will the module send a gate-high signal for as long as the button is held down?

A: Yes! The ADDAC304 uses momentary switches (check the ADDAC305 if you want toggle switches instead). The module will output a +5v signal for as long as the button is held down, and when released it will output 0v.

Q: Will the module output gates when nothing is connected at the inputs?

A: If a jack is plugged in an channel which has an input, then when you press the button the incoming signal will be output instead. If there is no input then the channel behaves like all other channels, firing +5v when pressed and 0v when not pressed.
