For our final in-store event of 2025, Arturia’s Tom Lewis (who you may remember from the excellent Buchla event we hosted last year) will deliver a masterclass in sound design featuring Arturia’s flagship analogue synth, the PolyBrute 12, on Thursday 27 November.

Come along not only to learn how to get the most out of this incredible synth, but to discover some tips and tricks for designing great sounds on whatever gear you might be using.

There will be free merch for attendees and, as usual, we’ll have beers and pizzas available from 6.30pm (including non-alcoholic and vegan options) before the event starts at 7pm. Free tickets - save your spot on Eventbrite.

Before that, our synth DIY workshop is back by popular demand on Wednesday 19 November! Are you curious about synth DIY but not sure where to start? Do you like the idea of making your own gear but have never picked up a soldering iron? Then come along to our beginner-friendly synth DIY workshop - we’ll teach you to solder and you’ll leave with an Atari Punk Console synth that you’ve built yourself.

Hosted by our resident technician Kyle and Izaak from Toadstool Tech, this workshop is aimed at beginners - no prior experience is necessary and you don’t need to bring anything. We’ll start by teaching you the basics of soldering and letting you practice your technique before building an Atari Punk Console kit (which is included in the entry price). It’s a super-simple DIY noisemaker circuit that’s ideal for novices.

This will run from 6-9pm and costs £20 to cover the cost of the kit. There are eight spots available - grab your ticket on Eventbrite.
