Frequently asked questions
Won’t I make more if I just sell it myself on eBay or Reverb?
Almost certainly! But this way you don’t have to deal with time-wasting enquiries or the faff of setting up a seller account, creating listings etc. You get a guaranteed price which we’ll pay out quickly (or you can put it straight towards new gear!)
What kind of gear do you accept?
We accept most working new and vintage music gear, including Eurorack modules, keyboard and desktop synths, drum machines and recording equipment. If you’re not sure, just fill in the details on our form and we’ll let you know if it’s something we’d accept. We don’t accept gear that’s faulty or not working.
Who and where do you accept gear from?
Currently we only accept gear from private customers (i.e. not businesses) who are based in the UK. You can ship it to us (at your expense) or drop it off in person at our Glasgow showroom.
What do I need to supply with the item?
Please include all the accessories originally supplied with the item - power supply/cable, ribbon cables for modules, etc. If we need to add these before we can sell the item, we’ll deduct the cost from our offer. We’ll generally pay more for items in undamaged original packaging.
What if I'm not happy with the final quote?
If you don't want to proceed based on our valuation, we'll send the item back to you.
How will you pay me?
We can pay you via store credit, bank transfer or PayPal. We pay up to 15% more for trade-ins paid via store credit. And there’s no time limit to use your store credit, so you don’t need to buy anything else right away if you’re not ready.
How long does this all take?
Depending on how many items you send us, once we receive and test them we’ll aim to send a final quote within 3 business days (Monday - Friday). If the quote is accepted, we'll issue your payment within 3 further business days.
