The sun’s out, Superbooth is nearly upon us, and the new product announcements are coming thick and fast! This past week has seen new releases from Make Noise, Nekyia Circuits, AJH Synth and Instruo (with another huge announcement coming on Monday) as well as teases from a host of others. Read on for what’s available now, and stay tuned to our blog after Superbooth for a full run-down of the most essential new products.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be having a bit of a spring clean and selling off some customer returns and ex-demo gear from our showroom to make way for all the exciting new bits. So keep an eye on our B-stock section for lots of tasty deals on nearly-new gear!

Right now we’ve got a Melbourne Instruments Roto-Control, a pink SOMA Pulsar 23, an Erica Synths SYNTRX, an ALM Busy Circuits Cizzle, an Arturia KeyLab 49 MkII and a Buchla LEM218 to name just a tiny handful, with loads more on the way. We’ll also be sharing selected items on our Instagram Story before they get listed, and if you’re in the area, you can call into our Glasgow HQ to buy them in person at an even better price.

Remember to keep an eye on our pre-owned category too, as new stock is arriving regularly and there are some serious bargains to be had. If you’re interested in trading in your old gear then simply fill in our web form and we’ll get back to you with a price.

Until next time,

Jason, Aleks, Kyle, Luke, Molly, Rob & Tom

3 new modules from Nekyia Circuits

Our friends at Nekyia Circuits unleashed three excellent new Eurorack modules this week, rounding out their range of impressive analogue filters, LPGs and utilities. Occult is their first VCO, and it’s a bit of a monster, delivering TZFM, a pulser waveshaper circuit and a whopping nine simultaneous outputs. Ouija is a super-handy slimline companion to any oscillator, with slew, noise, ring mod and sub-oscillator, while Wand is a Buchla 257-style voltage processor and crossfader. And who better to put them all through their paces than YouTube master DivKid? Check out his deep dive above.

“By coincidence, I've also been reading Picture by Lillian Ross. First published in the New Yorker magazine in the 1950s, the real-life stories of Hollywood heavyweights like LB Meyer (of MGM), John Huston and film stars of yesteryear are all woven together in a format that more closely resembles a novel than a non-fiction book. It’s written with a near-constant wry smile/arched eyebrow and is highly entertaining.

“Music-wise, I've been listening to:
