Roundup 16 May | Superbooth, new Instruo and more
We dispatched half the team to Superbooth in Berlin last week, and as usual there’s a lot of exciting news to report. Despite the current uncertainty around global trade, there seemed to be no shortage of new product announcements, including some complete surprises from Intellijel and Make Noise, a monster polysynth from Frap Tools, new Buchla recreations from Tiptop Audio and new drum machines from Erica Synths and Vermona.

In other news, Melbourne Instruments have released new firmware for the Nina desktop synth which adds a powerful new polyphonic sequencer mode. It offers four independent tracks with up to 64 steps per track and per-step parameter locking. Plus the smash hit Roto-Control now offers full integration with Bitwig Studio as well as Ableton Live. You can download the firmware updates now over on the Melbourne Instruments website.
